French left hits back at Ch… by The Instigator
France’s governing Socialist Party hit back hard at the Roman Catholic Church on Sunday for campaigning against its plan to legalize same-sex marriage, heralding a bruising debate over the issue.
Paris Cardinal Andre Vingt-Trois spoke against the proposed law on Saturday and encouraged Catholics to write to their elected officials and take to the streets in protest against the reform due to be voted on by mid-2013.
Opinion polls show that backing for the plan, a campaign promise by President Francois Hollande, has slipped several points since leaders of France’s main religions began speaking out against it and now stands at just under 60 percent.
The government is due to present the draft text of the law to the cabinet on Wednesday.
“I’m shocked by this attitude which I think is a kind of return to a fundamentalism that I find problematic,” Jean-Marie Le Guen, Socialist senator from Paris, said of Vingt-Trois’s speech to bishops in the pilgrimage town of Lourdes.
Party spokesman David Assouline said it was not the Church’s role “to oppose the will of the legislature, especially concerning civil marriage in a secular republic.”
In his Lourdes speech, Vingt-Trois, who is head of the bishops’ conference, said legalizing same-sex marriage would profoundly affect the equilibrium of French society and harm children who would grow up without a father and a mother.
“It will not be ‘marriage for all’,” he said, citing the slogan of campaign for gay matrimony, “it will be the marriage of a few imposed on all”.
Homeschoolers Flee Persecut… by The Instigator
Two leaders in the European home education movement, a father from Sweden and a German mother, drew tears from the audience as they told a packed conference room about life in exile and the heart-rending decision to flee abroad. While each of their stories was unique, both parents were forced to escape from their homelands due to relentless government persecution when they refused to stop homeschooling.
The presentations were made during a Friday workshop at the first-ever Global Home Education Conference (GHEC), held in Berlin, Germany, bringing together around 200 homeschooling leaders, policy makers, parents, human rights activists, and pro-family forces from every corner of the world. Meeting here this weekend, they say the plan is to join forces in the battle to protect the right of parents to direct the education and upbringing of children.
Today, parental rights over the education of children are almost universally recognized. Even the controversial United Nations’ so-called “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” concedes that “parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children,” as more than a few activists at the conference have pointed out. But under certain totalitarian regimes, as well as in Sweden and Germany, that is not always the case.
Jonas Himmelstrand, the chairman of the GHEC, is the president of the Swedish Home Education Association (ROHUS). He also lives in exile, having fled to Finland as a “homeschooling refugee” after the Uppsala municipality adopted a restrictive view on homeschooling — a process that began even before the national government passed a law purporting to ban home education in 2010.
Thousands of Russian nation… by The Instigator
Thousands of black-clad Russian nationalists marched through central Moscow on Sunday, marking a “National Unity Day” holiday created by Vladimir Putin by calling for an end to his rule and voicing hostility to ethnic minorities.
Putin instituted the holiday in 2005 to replace the annual Soviet-era celebration of the Bolshevik revolution. But civil rights activists say his own flirtation with ethnic nationalism has stoked a rise in far-right violence, and is partly to blame for the hijacking of the holiday by hardline militants.
The marchers, mainly young men with closely cropped hair in black leather jackets, shouted “Russia without Putin” and anti-immigrant slogans, carrying Russian Orthodox icons, waving imperial flags and chanting “Russia for Russians”.
People Walk Out on Obama at… by The Instigator
When your opening act is an accused rapist and molester of women, a man who lied to a grand jury and was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice, a man who actually stood in the Rose Garden of the White House and lied as follows:
But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I’m going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time — never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people.
When that man is your opening act, and then you climb on stage as President of the United States and people walk out halfway through your speech three days before the vote for your reelection, that’s not good.
Obama: Historic, unpreceden… by The Instigator
Barack Hussein Obama has once more done things that are, as the Fifth Column Media used to love to call them, historic and unprecedented. This time, however, most of the Fifth Column traitors are trying to cover them up, rather than ram ‘em down our throats. I speak, of course, of the unmitigated horror show in Benghazi and the subsequent cover-up by Obama and his administration.
As most conservatives, and even a few leftist Democrats now know, the slaughter of our Libyan diplomatic personnel on September 11, 2012, was completely avoidable. I repeat, completely avoidable, Unlike the deaths of American government employees resulting from Obama and Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious gun running scheme, Obama and the lackeys responsible can’t claim they couldn’t foresee the outcome. In Fast and Furious they figured the guns would just be used to kill Mexicans, so, no problema! But Benghazi is something entirely different.
In spite to the massive efforts to hide and distort the facts by the White House and their running dogs in the Fifth Column Media, the truth regarding the actions of Obama, Hillary Clinton, Leon Panetta, and others is finally seeing the light of day. And what we are seeing marks the administration’s actions as some of the blackest, most twistedly evil deeds ever perpetrated by people in the American government. They are being called by many traitorous, and murder.
Massive Decrease in Early a… by The Instigator
The Illinois Republican party claims early and absentee voting has precipitously fallen since the 2008 presidential election.
According to the numbers, at this point in 2008, there were 260,376 early voters and 304,290 absentee voters. Now, the party maintains, there are 195,064 early voters and 46,232 absentee voters. That’s a loss of 57 percent of voters, since the last election.
This, the Illinois Republican party says, is a terrible sign for Democrats.
David Cameron fears a chill… by The Instigator
At the Bicom annual dinner last Tuesday, I had the privilege to meet and then hear Ehud Barak, a true Israeli hero, speak about the challenges and opportunities facing his nation. Now defence minister, and a former prime minister, Barak is too authentically military in his bones to rattle sabres. He told the gathering organised by Bicom – the marvellous organisation which fosters links between Britain and Israel – that his country did not seek confrontation with Iran over its nuclear ambitions. But, with a silken clarity far more powerful than growled menace, he made clear that Israel will do what it has to do if those ambitions are not verifiably curtailed.
This is one of many reasons why Westminster, for all its internal ruptures, rebellions and pathologies, is so gripped by the last days of the US presidential election. Although the acclaimed American statistician and pollster Nate Silver has argued with impressive confidence that the psephological facts beneath the headline figures still favour Barack Obama, the race is plainly too close to call. The latest tracking polls at the time of writing show Mitt Romney marginally ahead, but it appears that the winner will have to lean ferociously into the finishing tape.
November surprise: EPA plan… by The Instigator
President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency has devoted an unprecedented number of bureaucrats to finalizing new anti-coal regulations that are set to be released at the end of November, according to a source inside the EPA.
More than 50 EPA staff are now crashing to finish greenhouse gas emission standards that would essentially ban all construction of new coal-fired power plants. Never before have so many EPA resources been devoted to a single regulation. The independent and non-partisan Manhattan Institute estimates that the EPA’s greenhouse gas coal regulation will cost the U.S. economy $700 billion.
The rush is a major sign of panic by environmentalists inside the Obama administration. If Obama wins, the EPA would have another four full years to implement their anti-fossil fuel agenda. But if Romney wins, regulators will have a very narrow window to enact a select few costly regulations that would then be very hard for a President Romney to undo.

This past week a YouTube video of a crying four-year-old little girl named Abigailwent viral. In the video Abby’s mom asks her why she’s so sad. Abigail replies through a steady stream of tears and mucus that she’s “tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney.” Well, little sister, I feel your pain. Now, mind you, I’m not tired of Romney and Ryan, but good Lord … and believe me when I tell you … I’m pig sick of Bronco Bamma.
Yep, I’m beyond ready for this ignoble thing called the Obama presidency to be officially finito. These past four years have been brutally lugubrious for this God- and country-loving rebel.
To what shall I compare the failed policies, ridiculous debt, over-the-top obfuscation and overall diminishment of the White House by this pusillanimous food stamp president?
Let’s see. Think, Doug. Think. Oh, I know! For me, Obama’s term in office has had all the appeal of watching Honey Boo Boo’s mom trying to get into a cat suit while eating a double meat burrito with extra guac and motor oil. How’s that?
