A Malaysian man is fighting for his life in hospital after allegedly setting himself on fire after discovering his wife was having a lesbian affair.

The 50-year-old husband, known only as Lim, set fire to himself in their Kuala Lumpur apartment when he found that his wife had been conducting an affair with her boss for 18 years.

The couple’s 18-year-old son was surfing the internet at home when he heard his mother scream.

“He rushed out of the room and saw his father on fire and tried to put out the flames using water from the bathroom,” said Assistant Commissioner Amiruddin Jamaluddin. “Neighbours also helped him.”

Soviet Defector: Soviets Used Anti-Semitism to Target America

Lieutenant General Ion Mihai Pacepa writes in his new book “Disinformation,” that the most severe damage the former Soviet Machine inflicted on the West was the disinformation campaign perfected by Yuri Andropov, former head of the KGB. Andropov was a former two-star general in the Securitate, the secret police of Communist Romania, and the highest intelligence officer ever to have defected from the former Soviet bloc. Pacepa writes that more people worked in the disinformation campaign in the Soviet Bloc than for the combined army and defense industry.

Pacepa reveals that Andropov’s plan for creating hatred of the United States was to revive and foment anti-semitism. Andropov believed correctly that the United States would stand with Israel, and if the European left and the Islamic world could be manipulated into thinking that America was run by Jews, they would turn against America.

Andropov told the disinformation specialists to work on catalyzing anti-semitism, and was rewarded when Palestinian terrorists who were trained in secret at the KGB’s Balashikha special-operations school east of Moscow hijacked an El Al plane in 1969 and flew it to Algeria, where they held its 32 Jews aboard for 5 weeks. While they were held, Andropov and his minions used the media to depict America and Israel as threats to world peace.

Later, Pacepa notes, Andropov broadened his plans; heretofore it was to hijack Israeli planes, but it mushroomed into organizing public executions of “Zionists.” Dr. George Habash, Marxist leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a protégé of Andropov’s, said, “Killing one Jew far from the field of battle is more effective than killing a hundred Jews on the field of battle, because it attracts more attention.”

Andropov’s disinformation efforts were working by 1972 to whip up Muslim belief that the U.S. was trying to make the Middle East a Zionist enclave, and that the U.S. Congress was a “Council of the Elders of Zion.” Pacepa writes that in 1972, the KGB sent the DIE (the Romanian KGB which Pacepa headed), an Arabic translation of the old Russian made-up story “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” The DIE also received “documentary” material made up by the KGB that was in Arabic “proving” America was a Zionist country. Pacepa admits the DIE received those documents with orders that they be distributed to certain Islamic countries; thousands of copies were sent out each month.

Pacepa concludes that the 9/11 attacks, using hijacked airplanes, were a concept perfected by Andropov and handed down to the perpetrators.

Paul McCartney: They Threatened to Kill Me if I Played in Israel (Leftist Jew Hated in 2013)

When rock legend Paul McCartney came to Israel in 2008, he was, at least to some extent, taking his life in his hands. Not because of Israel’s sometimes precarious security situation, but because he was threatened by BDS (boycott, divest, and sanction) anti-Israel groups. “I got death threats, but I’m coming anyway,” the singer was quoted as saying by Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs researcher Adam Shay.

“I got explicit death threats, but I have no intention of surrendering. I refuse to cancel my performances in Israel,” Shay quoted McCartney as saying.

The former Beatle is not alone.

Dozens of other artists who schedule dates in Israel are lobbied, bullied, threatened, and even attacked at concerts by anti-Israel groups who are bent on isolating Israel culturally, as well as economically. Many artists, said Shay, claimed that their web sites have been attacked by hackers right before their Israeli concerts.

Alicia Keys, who recently played a concert here last week, supplies the latest example of intimidation faced by artists who play Israel. Several of her fellow singers – notably Elvis Costello and Roger Waters – urged her to cancel, calling Israel an “apartheid state,” and Keys’ Facebook page was littered with condemnations of her on the day of the concert. Costello himself cancelled a concert in Israel in 2010, as did Carlos Santana, after being hectored by anti-Israel groups. Other notables who have cancelled planned concerts in Israel are Jon Bon Jovi, the Yardbirds, Joe Lynn Turner, and the Pixies. Spanish singer Paco Ibanez went one better, telling a French newspaper that he is boycotting the Hebrew language, which he can speak, for political reasons.

But despite the pressure and threats, there are many artists who continue to play Israel. In the past month, rock bands Deep Purple and the Pet Shop Boys have held concerts in Israel, and American artist Rihanna is scheduled to take her second tour here in October. And of course, there was Madonna.

Many of these artists, Shay said, decided to perform in Israel despite the threats. “When singer Moby was interviewed on Army Radio shortly before he performed in Israel, he said that the intensity of the attacks against him before he came to Israel made him suspect that this wasn’t an objective movement that was concerned with people’s welfare, but with something dark and dubious.” Unfortunately, though, “most artists just don’t want to deal with it. It’s much easier for them to release a statement that they won’t be appearing in Israel ‘for reasons of conscience’ rather than to say their lives are being threatened and they’re frightened.”

Muslim Brotherhood’s Mursi Says He’s “Ready To Die” as Military Overthrow Looms (Let’s Hope He Does!)

Egypt’s army commander and Islamist President Mohamed Mursi each pledged to die for his cause as a deadline neared on Wednesday that will trigger a military takeover backed by protesters.

Military chiefs, vowing to restore order in a country racked by demonstrations over Mursi’s Islamist policies, issued a call to battle in a statement headlined “The Final Hours”. They said they were willing to shed blood against “terrorists and fools” after Mursi refused to give up his elected office.

Less than three hours before an ultimatum was due to expire for Mursi to agree to share power or make way for an army-imposed solution, the president’s spokesman said it was better that he die in defense of democracy than be blamed by history.

In an emotional, rambling midnight television address, Mursi said he was democratically elected and would stay in office to uphold the constitutional order, declaring: “The price of preserving legitimacy is my life.”

Liberal opponents said that showed he had “lost his mind”.

Two army armored vehicles took up position outside state broadcasting headquarters on the Nile River bank and most staff were evacuated from the building, security sources said.

Gay Couple In Florida Win Green Card To Stay In The US [The Framers Weep!]

Florida reactions to same-sex marriage ruling

Gay Couple In Florida Win Green Card To Stay In The US Bulgarian who married his US partner granted residency days after supreme court ruling on same-sex marriage James Meikle guardian.co.uk, Monday 1 July 2013 A gay couple from Florida have become the first successful green card applicants for permanent US residency since the supreme court struck down a federal law against same-sex marriage.

Traian Popov, from Bulgaria, and American Julian Marsh learnt the decision from immigration officials on Friday as the government acted quickly to change its visa policies after last week’s legal decision.

“It was just kind of a shock, like winning the lottery,” said Marsh who was celebrating his 55th birthday with Popov at a restuarant when they got the news. “The amazing, overwhelming fact is that the government said yes, and my husband and I can live in the country we chose and we love and want to stay in,” he told the New York Times.

Popov, 41, who has been living in the US for 15 years as a student and is working towards a doctorate in social science, married Marsh in October last year – they met in 2011. They wed in New York because Florida does not recognise same-sex marriage. Marsh, a DJ and music producer, petitioned for Popov’s green card in February.

“We are first-class citizens in New York and in the eyes of the federal government, but second-class citizens in Florida,” Marsh said, signalling their role as activists to change the law in Florida. “We won’t stand for that.”

In U.K. But Not U.S., Young Voters Turn Against Big Government

A trip to London provides an occasion to compare and contrast British politics and attitudes with those in America.

Both have, in different ways, divided government. The Democratic president has been frustrated by the Republican House of Representatives and is likely but not certain to be until January 2017.

Britain’s ruling coalition has been occasionally strained by disagreements between the dominant Conservatives and the junior Liberal Democrats but seems likely to survive until the general election scheduled for May 2015.

In America the big-spending policies of the Obama administration have been followed by sluggish economic growth, persistently high unemployment and low workforce participation.

The British coalition’s cuts in what Americans call discretionary spending have been followed by roughly zero economic growth but relatively low unemployment and relatively high workforce participation.

In neither country is any party confident of winning the next presidential or general election. In both countries, young voters may be critical in determining who wins.

Young voters in both countries hold libertarian views on cultural issues. They tend to favor same-sex marriage and legalized marijuana, while the elderly tend to be strongly opposed. But there is an apparent difference on economic issues.

Americans under 30 tend to support big government policies more than their elders. They’re likely to tell pollsters that government should do more to solve problems — a position rejected by most American voters over the last 30 years.

Russia Passes Anti-Gay Law [How About Russia Passes "Pro-Family Law?]

Vladimir Putin

Vladimir Putin’s government wants to promote ‘traditional Russian values’ over what it sees as western liberalism and tolerance. Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, has signed into law a measure that stigmatises gay people and bans giving children any information about homosexuality.

The lower house of Russia’s parliament unanimously passed the Kremlin-backed bill on 11 June and the upper house approved it last week.

The Kremlin announced on Sunday that Putin had signed the legislation into law.

The ban on “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations” is part of an effort to promote traditional Russian values over western liberalism, which the Kremlin and the Russian orthodox church see as corrupting Russian youth and contributing to the protests against Putin’s rule.

Hefty fines can now be imposed on those who provide information about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community to minors or hold gay pride rallies.

Protests and riots are spreading around the world. Where do they come from and what do they signify?

Mideast Egypt

Not long before he went to the altar of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris last month and put a pistol to his head and killed himself, the French historian Dominique Venner was contemplating the contagion of revolt that occasionally sweeps around the globe like a pandemic. “How are revolutions born?” he asked.

Despite Venner’s radical right-wing background the principles he listed in a blog post were not so much ideological as sociological. And as we look at the tumult in the streets from Brazil to Turkey; the ferocious politics of post-uprising Egypt and the sucking wound of the Syrian civil war, I’m struck by a maxim in Venner’s essay that’s so floridly French, it’s hard to utter, unless you’re sitting at Café de Flore in Paris with a cup of espresso and a Gauloises. “The effervescence,” Venner wrote, “is not the revolution.”

Effervescence may mean fizz as in English but in French it also means excitement or turmoil, and effervescence often wells up when a regime—often caught completely by surprise—suddenly has to face several different conflicts. The fizz is the screw-the-system, we’re-all-in-this-together, down-with-whoever, up-with-whatever part of the process that takes place when the government starts to lose its grip on power, and disorder becomes endemic.

You see that in Brazil right now, where a million people turned out to protest on Thursday. There was violence, sure, and one person died, but there was samba, too, and the kind of adrenaline rush that comes from massive collective excitement. A lot of people find the effervescence fun in its early stages. But as Chairman Mao famously said, a revolution is not a dinner party. Effervescence doesn’t become a revolution until it’s organized and lead by a party or a person, and then things start to get really serious, and can get really ugly.

thumb[VIDEO] This is AWESOME: “My name is Paul Weston, and I am a racist” (British Politician Talks About Islam)

Paul Weston is a British politician and leader of the Liberty GB Party in the U.K who dearly loves his country and wants the culture to remain as it has been for a long time. But he sees that changing now and because of his outspoken passion on this, he’s been labeled a ‘racist’ by everyone, he says.

So Weston has taken to video to accept the judgment of the people and admit he’s a ‘racist’.

And an Islamophobe.

This is a MUST WATCH. And if you think it’s a little slow, just keep watching because it only gets better to the end.

Pakistan hates gays but love ‘shemale sex’ and ‘man f***ing man’ porn searches

Pakistan — a global leader in intolerance towards homosexuals — leads the world in Google searches for gay pornography, according to an analysis of search terms published by Mother Jones.

The study found the Islamic republic is the world leader by volume of searches form the terms “shemale sex,” “teen anal sex,” and “man f***ing man,” while it ranks second in searches for the term “gay sex pics.”

The term “shemale sex” was most-searched for in the city of Peshwar, a conservative Islamic stronghold that has become a frontline in the war on terror.

In a survey of 39 countries worldwide, the Pew Research Center asked the question, “Should society accept homosexuality?”

Mohammed movie filmmaker: “If I could go back, I would do it again”

He’s defiant, but not as defiant as you might think from that headline. He has no regrets about making the movie and says he’ll finish it once he’s out of the pen, but if you’re expecting any indignation over the White House’s repulsive attempt to make him a scapegoat for Islamist degeneracy, think again. He’s entirely deferential to The One — and maybe you would be too if you were stuck in a federal jail cell reading newspapers with daily reports about government gone rogue.

“It is not [a] religion movie,” he said. “I have a lot of Muslim friends and not all the Muslims believe in the terrorism culture. Some of them believe in this culture. That’s why we need to fight [against] the culture, not the Muslims. My enemy is the terrorism culture; this is my enemy…

“Of course I’m proud of [the movie]. If I could go back, I would do it again,” said Nakoula, 55, a Coptic Christian born in Egypt who came to the United States in 1984. “Everybody gets hurt in this culture. We need the world free of this culture. We have to fight it.”…

“I would like to thank the United States government from the top to the bottom for protecting me,” he said. “They treat me very, very good since this happened until now.”

When asked about Rice’s promotion last week to National Security Adviser after she became the face of the White House effort to substitute him for Al Qaeda as the cause of the Benghazi attack, Nakoula was again unwilling to be critical of the Obama administration.

“Who am I to criticize the United States’ commander in chief? This is his decision,” he said. “It’s not my responsibility. It’s not my job.”

When asked if he thought the administration had used him and his movie as scapegoats, he said simply “No comment.” That’s how you answer when you’re afraid to answer otherwise. I wonder if he knows that the frontrunner for the next Democratic nomination told more than one relative of Americans killed in Benghazi that they should blame him for the bloodletting. No comment.

Pope Reportedly Confirms ‘Gay Lobby’ in Rome (Now Destroy Them)

Pope Francis has confirmed there is a “gay lobby” inside the Vatican, a Catholic website reported.

Reports of such a group in the Curia have circulated for months and may have been a consideration in Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s retirement, CNN reported.

The Curia is the Vatican’s bureaucracy.

A Chilean website, Reflection and Liberation, which discusses liberation theology, first reported Francis’ comments, though CNN said a Vatican spokesman refused to comment on the report.

“In the Curia,” Francis said, “there are holy people. But there is also a stream of corruption,” adding, “The ‘gay lobby’ is mentioned, and it is true, it is there. We need to see what we can do.”

Russian Lawmakers Pass “Anti-Gay” Bill Overwhelmingly in Lower House, Homo Protesters Detained

A bill that stigmatizes gay people and bans giving children any information about homosexuality won overwhelming approval Tuesday in Russia’s lower house of parliament.

Hours before the State Duma passed the Kremlin-backed law in a 436-0 vote with one abstention, more than two dozen protesters were attacked by hundreds of anti-gay activists and then detained by police.

The bill banning the “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations” still needs to be passed by the appointed upper house and signed into law by President Vladimir Putin, but neither step is in doubt.

The measure is part of an effort to promote traditional Russian values instead of Western liberalism, which the Kremlin and the Russian Orthodox Church see as corrupting Russian youth and contributing to the protests against Putin’s rule.

The only parliament member to abstain Tuesday was Ilya Ponomaryov, who has supported anti-Putin protesters despite belonging to a pro-Kremlin party.

A widespread hostility to homosexuality is shared by much of Russia’s political and religious elite. Lawmakers have accused gays of decreasing Russia’s already low birth rates and said they should be barred from government jobs, undergo forced medical treatment or be exiled.

German Government Brands Goods Made in Factories That Are Owned by Jews

In a throwback to its darkest past, the German government recently decided to back an initiative which singles out Jewish-owned businesses and targets them for detrimental treatment. Joining 13 other European Union members, Berlin has reportedly agreed to support efforts aimed at applying special labels of origin to products manufactured by Jewish owned factories in Judea and Samaria.

The goal is to harm the livelihood of Jewish businessmen and entrepreneurs as a way of undermining the settlement enterprise. Needless to say, goods made by Palestinian-run plants in the territories will not similarly be branded.

This is an absolute outrage, one that is both morally obscene and historically indefensible, and the government of Angela Merkel should be ashamed of itself for going along with such a discriminatory practice. Whatever one may think of the peace process and the two-state solution, it should be obvious that treating merchandise differently simply because the person who owns the factory where it was made is a follower of Moses rather than Muhammad is an act of pure bigotry.

In light of its own sordid record during the 20th century, Germany and its leaders have a special responsibility to be exceptionally sensitive to such issues, particularly when they relate to Jews. After all, it was 80 years ago, in April 1933, that the Nazis launched a nationwide assault on Jewish owned businesses throughout Germany, painting yellow-and-black Stars of David on storefronts and discouraging people from patronizing them.

This was carried out under the slogan, “Kauft nicht bei Juden!” (Don’t buy from Jews!). Hence, for any German government to stand up and declare: “Don’t buy from Jews,” even if the proposal is limited to the Jews of Judea and Samaria, is downright chilling and should send a shiver down everyone’s spine.
