- British Social Workers Take… by The Instigator
Social workers in Britain obtained a court order to have a pregnant Italian woman forcibly sedated so her child could be removed from her womb without her consent.
The story, reported by the Telegraph, has raised questions about the powers afforded to social workers in the country.
The woman’s lawyer, Brendan Fleming, called the forced operation “unprecedented.”
The unnamed Italian national was in Britain for a work trip when she suffered a panic attack, which her family believes happened because she didn’t take her medications for bipolar disorder.
Her lawyer told the Telegraph she called police after suffering a breakdown. Cops took to her a psychiatric hospital, where she was restrained under the Mental Health Act.
After five weeks the ward, she said she was forcibly sedated. When she woke up, she was told her child had been delivered by caesarian section.
- The Real Lives of Gay Men (… by The Instigator
Not caring about what happens to gay men is like not caring about prison rape. Prisoners are our brothers, too, and so are gay men. We must care deeply about the abuse of our brothers in prison and we must care deeply about the lives led by our gay brothers.
Prison rape seems a world away from us, a subject we try not to think about, yet it is rampant, dehumanizing and deadly dangerous. In the same way, we avert our gaze from the lives led by gay men. Certainly ignoring the lives of gay men is what the paladins of the gay movement want us to do. If others peek behind the curtain of the white-picket-fence-homosexuality they have built up for public consumption, support for the movement would wither and probably die.
I do not equate sex between gay men and prison rape. I draw the parallel simply to compare how we look away from certain things and act as if the subjects of those acts are not part of us, part of society, part of the human family. The active gay man and the prisoner are our brothers and we have to be concerned with both. But we quite deliberately look away from the reality of both.
But look we must, particularly since we are being asked to consider that homosexuality is on par with heterosexuality, that same-sex marriage and opposite-sex marriage can be the same, that gay sex can in fact be spousal.
The arguments made by our best defenders of man-woman marriage focus almost exclusively on the definition of marriage and the rights of children to have both a mother and a father, and they explicitly say their arguments have nothing to do with the underlying question of homosexuality. Their arguments are very effective and I do believe they are making converts to the pressing cause of marriage. But in those arguments, one of the things lost is the real lives of gay men. It is as if we really do not care about them.
This is a difficult topic that no one wants to talk about. Brian Brown of the National Organization for Marriage tells me that these arguments are not effective during active political campaigns. These arguments can backfire in those situations. Even so, we should show greater regard for our gay brothers by paying more attention to their lives.

- Sylvia Thompson: A predicti… by The Instigator
The most galling of the lies for me, a black person, is the equally ridiculous notion that homosexuality is comparable to being genetically black. Activists envision that their push to force their behavior upon society is no different from the civil rights movement for American blacks. I cannot begin to describe the disgust that this position engenders in me, and many other blacks, because being black is not a behavior. Blacks who oppose this lie know that it is simply one of the Left’s many political agendas aimed at the destruction of civil society.
So, this is my prediction. As homosexual activists ignore the individual rights of a majority of Americans (never mind the bogus poll numbers to the contrary) and move steadily to outlaw Judeo-Christianity as the primary impediment to their unbridled hedonism, resentment against them will rise. What they seem not to comprehend or simply choose not to (that underlying ignorance mentioned earlier), is that at some point, the resentment will erupt into action. More likely violent action against them, because they foment hatred. Just as race mongering engenders hatred of blacks where such hatred otherwise would not occur.
Further, as they nullify law in their attempts to bring America to heel, eventually law will mean nothing. And lawlessness against a miniscule segment of society will not be pretty (one to, at best, three percent, contrary to the equally bogus research that says ten percent). All the exaggerated claims of homosexual persecution (recall the Matthew Shepard scam) will pale in comparison to the actual physical assaults likely to occur. If homosexual bullying (aided and abetted by the Left and the corrupt administration that bolsters the movement) continues at its current pace, such an eventuality is not at all out of the question.
- Limbaugh: Democrats Distra… by The Instigator
RUSH: Folks, I’m not gonna fall for it, and I don’t want you to fall for it, either. This is one of the biggest attempted distractions. Don’t get worked up over this today, it’s not worth it. Dingy Harry’s out there threatening to go do the nuclear option to end the filibuster as we know it. Don’t be fooled for a minute about this. Nothing more than a desperate attempt by the Democrats to distract everybody away from Obamacare and the disaster. That’s all it is. There’s nothing even on the Senate docket, if you will, that will even relate to this right now. They’re just trying to get the Republicans all bent out of shape and distracted about this.
I will allow myself to be distracted by this filibuster ploy for just one second, ’cause I just want to remind you that eight years ago, back in 2005 when the Democrats were in the minority in the Senate, Dingy Harry vehemently opposed changing the filibuster rules one iota. Now, all of a sudden, it’s time to do this, and the Drive-Bys are falling for it. They’ve been all over this like it’s the biggest news story of the day, and it isn’t.
RUSH: It’s outrageous. There’s no question. They did it. Dingy Harry went ahead and they just voted the nuclear option in the Senate. They just changed 250 years’ worth of rules on advise and consent, and now Obama’s gonna get every judge he wants. He’s gonna get them. If they want to add seats to a court — if they want to add five new liberal seats to the DC circuit, for example — they can do it. There’s no stopping ‘em because the Republicans don’t have the votes.
“US Senate Stops Filibusters on Nominations.” That’s the Reuters headline. They have managed to pass a rule ending the filibuster for judges. This is known as the “nuclear option,” and basically what it means is they have erased the need for there ever to be 60 votes before going to a final vote on a judge. It’s now 51 votes. “The Democratic-led US Senate, in a historic rule change, stripped Republicans on Thursday of their ability to block President Barack Obama’s judicial and executive branch nominees.
“On a nearly party-line vote of 52-48, Democrats abruptly changed the Senate’s balance of power by reducing from 60 to 51 the number of votes needed to end procedural roadblocks known as filibusters against presidential nominees…” Folks, this is part and parcel of why the Democrats are so hell-bent on winning the House in 2014. Winning the House would give them total, authoritarian, non-challengeable control over the US government.
Quite literally, there would be no way to stop them. None whatsoever. All of those years that the Republicans held the Senate, all we heard from a whining and crying Harry Reid and Dianne Feinstein was about protecting the rights of the minority. It’s all we heard. The Republicans were a cruel majority that had no intention whatsoever of ever listening to the minority, which represented quite a large swath of the American people.
Now, of course, that’s out the window. When the minority is Republicans, they don’t even exist, and they’re not due any respect, constitutional or otherwise, constitutional or human. So basically what this means with a president like Obama is there’s no stopping him. He can nominate anybody for anything in the judiciary and for a presidential cabinet member, whatever. There’s no way he can be stopped, because all it takes is 51 votes now and the Democrats have more than that. There’s no way.
That’s 250 years of Senate rules out the window, ’cause the Democrats have made it plain they’re not interested in democracy. That really is what this means. They’re not interested in democracy at all. They want total statist authoritarianism — and, frankly, I’m being kind with that terminology. But I’m a little… Well, I’m not conflicted. What’s the word? Mitch McConnell was just on TV acting surprised and outraged. Our guys always act surprised, and that’s what I don’t get.
Why do they not know who they’re up against, after all of this time, why do they not come to grips with what they’re up against and lay some groundwork for fighting it and opposing it in the public arena? They don’t have the votes to win it in the Senate. Why not take the news to the American people and let them know what’s going on? No, after the fact. They always act shocked and outraged, surprised that Harry Reid would conduct such a power grab.
Why are they surprised?
This is what I don’t get.
- Warning All Churches [Homos… by The Instigator
Over this year, there have been a number of news reports on another movement in the church advocating for the acceptance of homosexual behavior and same-sex relationships. Matthew Vines, an openly homosexual 23-year-old student at Harvard University, posted a video on YouTube of a speech he gave on homosexuality and the Bible. In the talk, he claims repeatedly that God’s Word does not condemn monogamous same-sex relationships.
Now, a recent report from the Christian Post highlighted the amount of compromise happening within the church on this issue. The headline of the article explains, “ 50 ‘Hand-Picked’ Christians Trained To Convince Churches To Re-Interpret Scripture’s Gay Boundaries.” Vines apparently hosted a training conference recently in his home state of Kansas for Christians who want to convince their churches to accept same-sex relationships.
- SHOCK CONFESSION: Bill Ayer… by The Instigator
A recent Baltimore book store—Red Emma’s— announced an appearance event byBill Ayers promoting his recent book “Public Enemy,” the Red Emma’s book store post states the following:
”Ayers reveals how he has navigated the challenges and triumphs of this public life with steadfastness and a dash of good humor — from the red carpet at the Oscars, to prison vigils and airports (where he is often detained and where he finally “confesses” that he did write Dreams from My Father)”
- Pat Caddell: America has go… by The Instigator
The rule of law has been replaced in Washington by “yes we can.” The events we witnessed Thursday in the Senate, that is Majority Leader Harry Reid’s success at invoking the so-called ‘nuclear option,’ stripping the minority party of its primary power to block nominations, have become a stunning capstone to what has been already a steady erosion of a government of laws down to a sort of semi-political banana republic.
We are now living in a republic in which politicians do what they want without regard to tradition or the best interests of our country.
The rule of more than 200 years since the Senate was formed, as described by James Madison, to be “…the saucer of the hot cup of the House” has been overthrown.
- PBS Dem Pundit Mark Shields… by The Instigator
Barack Obama being clear that his team messed up Obamacare made it hard for liberal PBS NewsHour pundit Mark Shields to try Democrat Happy Talk.
Instead, Shields joined the liberal gloomfest: “If this goes down, if the Obama — if health care, the Affordable Care Act is deemed a failure, this is the end — I really mean it — of liberal government.” He even acknowledged Obama lied about Keeping Your Plan:
MARK SHIELDS: That is — wasn’t a true statement. And you’re driven to one of two conclusions. Either the president was almost — almost negligently uncurious in not asking about what the answer was, or he made the choice to trade his considerable reputation and record of integrity for short-term political gain. That’s why they had to come and that’s why there was such consternation in the ranks.
JUDY WOODRUFF: How do you explain it, David, what happened, with the president acknowledging yesterday that he wasn’t on top of it?
DAVID BROOKS: Yes, I think it is politics. They knew that they — getting this thing passed — we were there — it was hard. And so they were pulling out every political stop in the book. And a lot of those political stops have made it harder now. The first early one was, they were really late in issuing the regulations because they didn’t want them to come out during the campaign so Romney could attack them.
As a result, the whole implementation got pushed back, and that’s part of the reason the Web site is such a mess. And then they made this political calculation. Then they made the — that they weren’t going to tell you there will be losers here. And they made the political calculation there would be no deficit effects. They made a whole series of political calculations.
- ‘Hot Mic’ Catches UN Transl… by The Instigator
On Thursday, a United Nations interpreter expressed on a “hot mic” the thoughts of many UN observers: that the incessant emphasis on condemning Israel – for crimes real or alleged – is uncalled for and excessive.
In the video, a Spanish-English translator appears to stop her simultaneous translation to note the oddity to a colleague.“I mean, I think when you have five statements, not five, like a total of ten resolutions on Israel and Palestine, there’s gotta be something, c’est un peu trop, non? [It's a bit much, no?] I mean I know… There’s other really bad stuff happening [around the world], but no one says anything, about the other stuff,” she said.
A few seconds into her rant the interpreter realized that her remarks were heard by the diplomats in attendance, some of whom couldn’t help but laugh at the mishap.
